Laboratory Technician We are currently seeking candidates for a 2nd or 3rd shift Temp-to-Hire Lab Technician position in the Kansas City metro area.
Job Summary:
Quality control testing and recordkeeping on all incoming raw materials/ingredients, in-process samples and outbound finished products to ascertain whether they meet or exceed specifications.
Responsibilities:
* Perform quality control tests & recordkeeping on all incoming raw materials/ingredients, in-process samples and outbound finished products, and communicate results. * Prepare solutions used in testing. * Calibrate instrumentation and perform general lab maintenance. * Compile & organize laboratory data. Prepare & distribute daily quality control reports. * Collaborate with and train operators, provide supplies, troubleshoot & audit quality lab stations. * Maintain and audit records of products and procedures. * Prepare and transmit certificates of analysis (COA).
Position Qualifications for Laboratory Technician:
* BS in Science discipline preferred * General Chemistry knowledge * Laboratory experience preferred * Detail oriented, self-starter * Organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Able to work to & meet deadlines.
